Would you really have the "Brotherhood" version of BLT, Jarvo? I know you've had your say on this before, but wouldn't it sound awfully dated? And isn't it the chorus-to-end-all-choruses that gives it its OOOOMPH, regardless of its "chunkiness" (or otherwise)? On the same topic, while the current live TBTHOG lacks the sheer testicles it used to have, I kinda like the "True Faith" they do these days. Sure, it doesn't have the immediacy of the original, but those awfully tinny, clattery drums would, I'd argue, sound worse than ever......

Unfortunately, no: I was a mere babe at 10 years old in 1983 and hence did not attend. Hadn't heard about the near-riot: what did people expect? Value for money? I've been told by ageing attendees that said show was, at best, average; others have told me it was a complete duffer. So, like, go figure....

Yeah it was the nite after the Tower Ballroom where they'd done LWTUA - people seemed to be expecting to hear that again, and though it wasn't that bad a show, it wasn't their best period really. Too many Movement songs still, rough PCL versions (even though it was released then) and just before Confusion. 3 min Blue Monday was funny though - just like TOTP !
