Just listened to Ceremony from this set of demos, only other one I've heard is DNE. Am I right in thinking this is Steve singing on Ceremony? What other songs did he sing in demos and live gigs?

I think they pretty much abandoned the idea of Steve singing by the time they'd done half a dozen gigs, he does sing one of the verses of Ceremony at the Blackpool Scamps gig I think.

The early live versions of things like C&W and Mesh are really different from the recorded ones, different lyrics and everything - I do remember thinking that one or two very early live versions of these didn't sound like Barney singing... May have been this one...

Both had completely different lyrics and were both sung by Hooky live in 80-81 with some very early exceptions on C&W when Steve would be singing too.

When C&W was revived in 83 on the US tour it may have been the only times that they played something resembling the studio version with Bernard singing.
