Live Lounge Covers

Jo Whiley is releasing an album of artists perfoming others artists tracks live in her live lounge. Its got some weird cross overs:

Arctic Monkeys doing Girls Aloud`s Love Machine.

Snow Patrol doing Beyonce`s Crazy In Love.

Keane doing U2`s With Or Without You.

Anyway,back on topic the idea of the covers is that its a fun thing,covering things that are totally NOT what you`d expect.

What do you think would be a good laugh for New Order to cover?

I`d like to here them having a go at some of these:

Junior Senior "D-D-Dont stop the beat"

AC/DC "Back In Black" (hooky on vocals)

The Source "You Got The Love"

New Kids On The Block "The Right Stuff".

anything by the Cure or enjoy the silence by depeche mode

Esp. if the band would pull a TBTHOG video and dress up AS the Cure....imagine Barney with the unkempt crows' nest, lipstick, pancake makeup, 50 lbs heavy-ier.....ummm, or rather lets not and say we did

Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, or The Smiths

Enjoy the Silence is a decent shout, though I can see Hooky enoying the guitar on I feel you.

Also might like to hear them tackle 'Don't you want me baby'...

I was thinking more along the lines of Walk Like An Eygptian.

Heard Elbows contribution of Ameries 1 Thing since i started this thread. Have to say i might buy the album.

She Sells Sanctuary by The Cult. That would be priceless. It may even be good..
