Razormaid just re-edits songs. "Mr. Disco" is on Technique. The remix wasn't on one of Razormaid's official vinyl releases, it was on a CD-R that they put out in 1997 or 1998.

Razormaid's crap. He just repeats bits so the song loses its cohesion.

Not always though... their version of Vanishing Point on In Hidsight II is ace.. so is Subculture from In Hindsight I.

But they had the master tapes for that one.

I never bothered with Razormaid New Order "remixes" (a loose term) again after I'd heard the Substance Abuse 1994 bootleg and a couple of other NO mixes they'd done. Your average fan with the original waveforms and half an hour of cutting and pasting in Cool Edit could assemble what they'd done.

There was a particular remix, Sub-culture (Razormaid Mix v2) I seem to remember, which was just dire. They stuck some female vocal on towards the end of it and bloody hell, whoever she was she just couldn't sing to save herself :skeptic: The ironic thing was it probably would've been a passable mix if they'd left the Barney vocal intact.
