Anyone else actually going to this? Some of our Swedish contingent shall surely be in the area?
Well, seeing as how there's only gonna be SEVEN actual gigs this summer, and seeing as I was out drinking with the older Manc Order lot before ACR on Sunday, who've all now booked up for this, and seeing as how you can fly from Stansted for just 50 notes, and you can actually buy day tickets for the Saturday only, I've decided to relent and do this one as well. . .

How was the ACR gig? My housemate went too and I didn't see him again until 5pm the next day.....
Cracking gig. Thought it was possibly better in London (cos the ceiling was only 8ft high so was much hotter!) but was still a cracker nevertheless. Indeed, I didn't roll in till 5pm the next day too. Er, but then I do live in London..

Sorely tempted to do this one as well, as I've never been to Sweden. This may replace the Hurricane one though in my summer tour.

We'll have knocked them out of the World Cup just a few days before hand. Should be worth it just for that :D

Ryanair - Stansted to Skavsta, Saturday morn, about 7am, return flight around 10pm Monday (that one only cost 6 notes). And I mailed the people at rockparty.se and there's day tickets available for the Saturday.. .

Must admit, I conceded defeat fairly quickly ;)
I just thought I'd point out that Skavsta and Hultsfred is quite far from each other.. You'd have to find a way to get from Skavsta to Hultsfred (train, bus... don't know about planes) which will make the trip a bit less cheap than calculated.. But maybe the people at rockparty can inform you.

I believe it's a 3hr journey by train? Then a bus to the festival site? Or something. Can't say I've looked into it really; just following the herd.
