Er, doubt they'd make the top 100,000 earners! Every second-rate footie player in the UK doubtless earns a better wedge! And how many more bands must be faaar richer?
Why do you think they're still flogging 'emselves at their age when probably only one of 'em (Hooky) still enjoys it?
Somebody called Wilson got in the way, and prevented them from earning very much. Ably assisted by his leech Ryder.
Can't all have been Wilson's fault though, the band and Rob Gretton must have made some business mistakes along the way. What they never had was the voice of rationality in the background, which is why they are still playing now.
Shame, especially as they hold enough commercial ooomph to headline our biggest and most popular festivals - Glastonbury,Reading to name but two. And to tour the world heading festivals around the globe and sell packed out album tours as well as continual royalties and repackage deals.
I bet they didnt have to make this latest album in order to put bread on the table!! ;)
There is no excuse. They can't blame Rob Gretton for this one now. Anyway, it won't happen (or at least it's highly unlikely). I'd like it if they did actually - be so funny to see a new video ripping the piss out of the old one.
