Ta for that Manchester's City Life magazine has an interview with the man himself reviewing current pop hits....also has listings of various 24 Hour Party People related events at the Cornerhouse, including a talk by Lindsay Reade and our Gillian! :)

As for the programme, it was actually rather entertaining. From my point of view it reminded me of growing up and just how many programmes he actually made during the 80's...twas incredible!

Highlights were Steve and Hooky ... Hooky was being rather dimplomatic, but did a cracking impression of Wilson..."As Trotsky once said..."

But Steve didnt hold back, he really slagged him..."He's a Cambridge educated gobshite" was the best line of them all... once again New Order steal the show! :)

There's an interesting article in today's (Saturday's) Times newspaper - the glossy Magazine Supplement has an interview, no, scrub that, a CONVERSATION, between Steve Coogan and Tony Wilson about the film. Tellingly, throughout the conversation the word "twat" crops up quite a lot. Quite funny actually. Anyone else get this today? I found it on a train going into Manchester so I kept it and read it at the soundcheck.
