I heard that it was a horrible remix... It wasn't as popular as Blue Monday '88, from what I hear.
it is actually not so bad as L G heard it was. How can you comment on something you haven't actually heard.
You can get that version on The Rest Of.
agreed IMO it is a cracking vid. it should have been on item, then again i also think the original vid should have been on it as well. i don't care if it is only something that Steve cobbled up on his mac2.
I think it's an okay mix (the vocals sound way too...digital). Better than 88 (I hate 88) but doesn't touch the orginal or The Beach.
Havent followed the link but i assume were talking about the Hardfloor mix? I like it,but please never release BM again.

Since I'm the one who put it online... I got it from a tape in 1997 from Dennis Remmer from Australia, it was aired on a show called RAGE, and as far as I know, it's the only source we have about it.
Unless somebody can add to this..?

I don't see why. The Jam & Spoon remixes of Blue Monday were quite good, and I actually like the Hardfloor remix, the edit is better though IMHO, because the original mix is too long.
It was perfect for brining back Blue Monday in the clubs.
Sure, the other ones like Brain, Plutone and Starwash, were not too memorable.

that's where i have it from as well, unfortunately in mono.
