went to sankey's in manchester last night, erik morillo was doing that dj'ing thing and played Blue Monday - a lot of people slag off BM on this forum, but when you hear it in that environment it sounds as relevant today as it did in 83. a lot of dj's are playing it recently and it fits in with todays stuff perfectly.
If you Blue Monday dissers had been there you may well have changed your opinion. pure class.

I was indeed at Sankey's on Saturday - top night. Blue Monday did sound totally ace - do I remember rightly that he mixed it in with that X-Press 2 'Lazy' track?? Anyhoo, despite the fact we've all heard it 20,000 times before it's still top when it gets played when you least expect it....I got so excited i think I have my mates internal bruising my grabbing them all and jumping up and down like a maniac....:\ohwell:
