From the NME:

Hooky is going to write a book about the Hacienda (provisionally titled 'How Not to Run a Club'). Looks like it's going to contain loads of stories related to Hac goings-on. Should be a laugh.

See attached link (which would work if I could figure out how to insert a link):

Is it true that Hooky once drove his Porsche onto the dancefloor of the Hacienda and sat in it and watched proceedings?

One of my mates set another of my mates on fire in a nightclub as well. Poor old scouse fell asleep so my mate sheet used his lighter on scouse's shoe laces, still no sign of movement so sheet started on his brand new RL shirt, which took no time at all to go up, we then legged it to the dancefloor after slapping scouse, luckily the bouncers appeared and put him out before any real damage was done. We then joined scouse and asked the bouncers who did it and that we'd go and stiffen them.

I have loads of stories like that, unfortunately Martines and Bips in Corby are not held in the same esteem as the Hacienda.

i remember being at this Goth Club once in about 1989.

this goth girl with a Robert Smith barnet had her hair set on fire by her mates ciggie, due to all the hairspray. It took her about 10 secs to realise.

ouch!!
