Poor Col, very poor!!
If you're coming to Bournemouth then you should be able to get into the aftershow party where members of the band may be about.
har-de-har-har Colin, or should that be ho-de-ho?
Hi Heidi - I'm sure that the site owner Spotnick will be able to put you in touch with the relevant people, when he wakes up! (these Canadians have weird timekeeping!)

surely heidi hi would sound better... is there not any contact info inside the sleeves these days?
Carrying on from a conversation we had in Oireland at the weekend about the lad from Portion Control who got his head kicked in at Hammersmith Palais ...
... is it perhaps advisable just to try and get on stage these days?!
Do any of Da Yoot attempt it?!
If not, try that, bouncers might be so shocked they won't know what to do!
Getting your head kicked in at Hammersmith Palace is one of those things that sounds much cooler than it really is.

When you see the size of the lad who got his head kicked in, all I can say is: there must've been a LOT of bouncers on him! ![]()
Thanks for your reply - the aftershow party?? Do they have one after every gig then? But who should i contact about this? What is the record label or tour operator name?? Thanks Very Much

I can't do much really, I can always forward to Alan Wise or Andrew Robinson, but if I start doing that, I will have to do it for everybody!!
Getting backstage passes is really a matter of being at the right place at the right moment really.. even I didn't get one in New York ;)
I didn't ask though... I don't like to ask for such things for myself.
Well that's us told - can we all expect a good hiding at Bournemouth?
News about the afterparty can be found hiding in all the mindless chatter on the Bournemouth thread on the Ceremony forum:
We think that the normal gig tickets will get us all into the afterparty, but we're trying to confirm this. What we do know is that tickets bought from A Wise say FAN on them and say something about afterparty access.
There is not always an afterparty, at least not one that the fans get into. There was one after the Apollo gig last year, some people got to speak to the band (and some of us were too pissed and hid in the toilets).
Look out for Hooky's DJ dates - they're usually a good oportunity to meet the Bass mechanic - never one to hide his light under a bushel.
The rest of the band are harder to see - seem to hide themselves away better.
Look forward to seeing you there ![]()

Aren't we all a bit old for hiding in other people's coats?
not to mention a bit big!
Thanks for your reply - i have Fan tickets via this sight, but wasnt aware of a party - when do you think you will find out? What is the bands record label and tour company? Thankyou very much
You could do worse than write to Alan Wise, who you got the tickets from. He might be able to help.
The record company are Warner Brothers.

if you read it, she said her partner was a big fan...![]()
Make sure you submit yor questions by post, so if you meet Barney he can have the answers on a mini auto cue ![]()
As mentioned on the previous page, the best idea would probably be to contact the promoter - Alan Wise - who you would have got those FAN tickets from. If you don't still have his address, you can find it here: The Bournmouth thread
Hope this helps, & welcome to the site
if you read my original message i said my partner is a fan and this is a surprise for him, please do not be rude to me please!
A very good opportunity to meet Hooky alone might be NewOrderOnline Day on October 28, in London at the ULU venue.
Just a thought...

That's not rude!
When we're rude it's awful ![]()
We've given as much information as we know, if you need any more help just ask.
Welcome to Neworderonline - look forward to meeting you in Bournemouth ![]()
Edit - There's an afterparty at Bournemouth and Hooky is DJing.
