Can someone explain to me what's different about the mix? I know there's more guitar, but it sounds a bit different from the guitar on the Substance version.

The additional acoustic guitar part was recorded by Gehman himself as part of his remix in 1995.

And who played that guitar part ? Gehman himself ? Or Barney ?

Yes, and on the LWTUA '95 single.

On "Permanent" the track is called "Permanent mix" and on the single it's "radio mix". Both are in fact identical, I think.

Given his involvement with a range of no-talent ass clowns such as Pat Benatar, John Cougar Mellencamp, Cutting Crew, Hootie & The Blowfish and so on, does anyone know how and why Don Gehman stuck his oar into LWTUA?
