Something about Face Up that always makes me laugh. Maybe because it sounds almost tongue in cheek.

What say you lot

BLT, run, jetstream, touched by the hand of god, krafty, slow jam, fine time, world (perfecto mix), world in motion, spooky, temptation...

"World in Motion," "Regret," "Spooky," and "Chemical" (all of Republic, really) are like rays of sunshine in my life.

most NO songs do (which is the opposite of JD, which usually puts me in a depressed mood, although I still love it), but in particular, SOONER THAN YOU THINK. It's Happy and Sad all the same time. The end result is a beautiful feeling.

Just listening to N.O. puts me in a good mood, but the one track in particular & is a favourite because of this is Age of Consent, the great lost N.O. single. :thumb:

I agree with oldmonkey....nothing quite gets the hairs on the back of my neck standing on end, and puts a smile on my face quite like hearing those first two notes of Ceremony.......

All of them. If I'm in a really good mood I always tend to put New Order on, doesn't matter which album. It's all good to me (er, except maybe Working Overtime). Me and Alfie have a sing a long!

Temptation I've listened to the most, followed closely by Perfect Kiss, Ceremony, and Dreams Never End. Other picks include All The Way, Dream Attack, and Face Up. But, if you asked me what NO song would most likely create very positive feeling in an impartial listener, it would indeed be Age Of Consent. Everyone I know who doesn't listen to NO regularly will perk up most to that song if I put on NO.

+1

Temptation is one of those songs that always gets me up.

I also always find myself singing it (or at least humming it) on my drunken stumble back to my dorm room.
