Best JD record to get drunk to

Omitting Permanent and H&S due to redundancy, which do you go for? Complete BBC Sessions for me.

Two things I hear way too often:

1. NO is gay
2. JD is depressing

The BBC Sessions is some of the most exhilirating rock n roll I've ever heard. Want to hear depressing? Go listen to some crap Cure record from the early 80s and hate yourself for wasting time and money. (Robert Smith should have stuck to the Boys Don't Cry formula.)

Substance, just because of the Warsaw songs. The early Warsaw demo with stuff like Gutz is something that you have to get drunk FOR in order to tolerate it.

And yes, it's possible to get drunk to Atmosphere. Get over it.

Everytime I'm drunk and I listen to The Eternal and then Decades I cut my veins and hurt myself. I want to die.

UP, because as well as being dark and 'depressing', it's also incredibly uplifting in places, mainly because of the sheer energy most of the tracks manage to conjure... The rush of Disorder makes it a big late-night favourite round here, ditto for NDF (despite the lyrics)... Usually skip Candidate and IRN under such circumstances, though...
