don't know if this has been brought up, this cover reminds me of something... maybe he is making a comment about New Order? I wonder if he knows who New order are? Could Justin kick that eagle's ass? ![]()

Retro was a shite cover, so it's quite appropriate that JT has 'borrowed' from it... ![]()

New Order covers always been so stylish and cool. The Retro cover sucks big time. It's awful, boring and boring. No idea behind whatsover. Even the "retro" idea itself was silly.
Actually I think the Retro cover could have been better if they had Hooky stomping on the disco ball, I like Justin's idea (or whoever gets paid to have his ideas) is better.

Music for 6 year old girls.
Would it still be fir six year old girls if Dave Gahan were singing it? I kind of think "Sexy back" would work better as a DM song.

That's funny you mentioned that. I always thought some early DM would be good boy band material. I'm not joking and it ain't always a bad thing.

Cor Blimey Guv's!!! I loved the Retro Cover- The Eagle of Rock attacking the Disco Ball of Dance with a sort of HAC reflection..... INSPIRED!- NO is the perfectly blend of dance and rock, so the imagery is well appropos...
I doubt Justin knows who New Order are...but maybe somebody else took the retro cover and used it as an inspiration(?) for this.

Some of their early Vince Clarke penned songs would, with the exception of "Photographic" and "Tora Tora Tora." And so would "See you" and "Meaning of love" from their next album. But, also, the songs work when they seem less poppy, just like they do after Alan's influence, which is pretty obvious when they do "See you" and "Just can't get enough" on The World we live in and live in Hamburg."
Isn't the most important question what does the Retro eagle think of the new Justin Timberlake cover?

Hey, the Retro cover is good, its Justin Timberlake who sucks. Oh, yeah but yet he's so big in the mainstream. I liked one damn song of his and that was because of the simple bass lines/riffs in "Rock Your Body"-you have to admit- that was a good song. Everything else is bleh.
