Fantasy Festival

Ok so were getting towards the (uk) festival season now. How about a few ideas for your personal one day fantasy festival: 10 performers/bands, one stage. And to keep it interesting you can only choose two 'deceased' groups. If i can be bothered I'll tot up the scores and put together the ultimate line up according to the votes:

New Order Pixies Pavement (playing at sunset) Stereolab PJ Harvey Kraftwerk (technically still going) Delgados Boards of Canada The Strokes John Williams conducting the London Symphony Orchestra!

Well I'd remove The Strokes from that list first and foremost cuz I think they're pants. And substitute the John Williamns orchestra from Ennio Morricone's instead (for those wide open windswept spaces....you know?). I'd retain the rest of the bands but change the order a little and add to them these:

a reformed Leatherface a reformed Husker Du a reformed Big Black The Breeders Arab Strap Flaming Lips Squarepusher and Aphex Twin together!

NO Grand Master Flash and His Furious Five in a sound clash with Afrika Bambarta and His Soul Sonic Force Kylie Basement Jacxx Tricky The Strokes The Long Ryders De La Soul Half Man Half Biscuit Greame Park

New Order The Smiths At the Drive In Garbage The Cure Icehouse Depeche Mode A Certain Ratio The Fall Echo and the Bunnymen

Sorry, most of my fav bands are deceased so thats why I added them ... Don't think there are to many bands that Im into who are still around ... Which is kind of sad !!

Deceased? I can only see two in your list that actually are: The Smiths and Icehouse....

IN THIS ORDER..THE SMITHS...SHED 7...A.C.R...PRODIGY...NEW ORDER

ENCORE...A.C.R AND THE ORDER PLAYING WILD PARTY

VENUE...ANYWHERE

Even if Shed 7 do Speakeasy? :(

THEY DO PUT ON A GOOD SHOW...EVEN THOUGH THE BARBER FROM HELL INSISTS ON CUTTING ALL THE BANDS HAIR...CHASING RAINBOWS IS MY ALL TIME FAV NON NEW ORDER TRACK.

For Shed 7 I'd go for Disco Down or Chasing Rainbows, all time non NO song would be a toss up between Come On Eileen and One to Another
