The NEC gig will always be memorable to me for "different" reasons.....
a) we got completely shit-faced on the way to the gig and were in a state of disorientation before the Mondays came on, but
b) I was wearing this studded belt in my jeans, and the bastards on the door wouldn't let me wear it. Jeans kept falling down, so I was down the front with me thumbs through the loops trying to keep me jeans up ! Sometimes you need yer arms down the front for support and lebensraum, so I got battered to fuck every time people started moving about (every 5 seconds). Somehow didn't really enjoy the gig :)
SOUNDS AWFUL........THINKING BACK THE SET LISTING WAS QUITE GOOD BUT WE ENDED UP IN THE SEATS ABOUT 50 MILES FROM THE STAGE WHICH SOMEWHAT SPOILED THE NIGHT...BUT IN HINDSIGHT NOT SUCH A BAD THING AS A BLOKE IN HIS Y-FRONTS MAY HAVE BEEN STOOD NEXT TO ME IF I HAD BEEN STANDING NEAR THE FRONT...I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT I DONT LIKE SITTING DOWN TO WATCH THE ORDER...
