that funky "rap" in 'confusion' fits well, would have been good addition to the single, well before it became commonplace

Caesar may not be as 'famous' as some of the other folks on stage there but he's still making some good music as The Occasional Keepers with Bob Wratten of The Field Mice/Trembling Blue Stars...

He was the lead Singer from a God awfull Factory band called The Wake

The Wake may have been a bit JD-wannabe on Factory but their later singles and albums were much more poppy and upbeat and had a nice line in humour, especially numerous digs at Tony Wilson...

yeah- a factory allstars re-union... but this time with their oxygen masks, walkers and hearing aids...
I like the stuff Wake put out on factory. Their later albums on Sarah were decent as well.
Snorri, I did pick up The Ocassional Keepers since I really like Rob Wratten's work as well, but was sorely disappointed. I dunno... it's kinda boring and uninteresting music compared to what they've done before. I guess I expected too much.
Other notables in the all-stars video include 52nd Street, most of The Wake, the girls from Section 25, and Vini Reilly.

Suppose it depends which 'end' of Bobby's range of stuff you like... I've always really liked the more abstract stuff, so the more ambient nature of the OKs stuff appeals to me, more of a surprise I suppose to hear Caesar and Carolyn Allen's involvement in it, given that their later stuff as the Wake (ok, so it was a decade ago) was so much more poppy... They could've done something amazing together though if they'd have all had their indiepop hats on...
