88.5 XPN (home station of the World Cafe) just did a poll of the 885 greatest artists of all time (guess which hacks are number 1??) and played two songs by each artist...

Actually, The Killers got 310, beating out Supertramp, Buzzcocks, Iggy Pop, Cocteau Twins, Petshop Boys, Garbage, Kraftwerk, Iron Maiden, Erasure, Ozzy Osbourne.. My god..

Also the fact that Black-Eyed Peas and Kelly Clarkson managed to place on the list and fucking RUSH didn't. And like em or not (Rush that is), like.. come ON.

So nobody take this seriously.

I have seen 50 on that list live.

That top ten is particularly awful. Whent he best band out of ten is U2 you know you are in trouble...
