Answer to Minx,e-mail was an alert from Virgin Megastores, you can sign up for them to get info' on new releases, sales, stuff like that,Richard Branson's doing the opening. Was in the M.E.N. today that they're also searching for the girl(now a woman) who was the subject of The Freshies 'I'm in love with the checkout girl on a certain Manchester Megastore checkout desk'...(was big in Manchester! ),called Helen, nice story,so I can't attest to it being gospel, but email was legit. :thumb:

Bugger - I'll be in Manchester for the weekend before, but have to travel back before then...

On an off-topic issue, is the Hacienda gallery in URBIS worth a gander?

Not entirely sure what's happening pre-gig, but if you don't mind joining a group of a couple of brummies, wirralians, welsh, and one northern irish guy (a mate off the 808 forum, not Steve! :p ), then you're welcome to come along! :thumb:

Since the gig finishes at (roughly) 3:30am, I haven't even planned Saturday yet... My return train is about 4:30pm'ish from Picadilly, so plenty of time on the Saturday post midday! :)

The actual window advertising it, scroll to right to see NO time!

Can't imagine the whole of the band will turn up if previous events are anything to go by!

I suppose it may depend on how much they are getting reimbursed though!

I'm also a Northern refugee in London. Why couldn't they have done this this time last year as I worked in Manchester then and I could have used a cock and bull story to have had the morning off. Ah well. Cheers!:thumb:
