To everyone who's going/gone,have a good time & give us a full report eh? Envious as fook I am,lived here for 39 years,been a J.D/N.O. fan for 23 of them,this comes up & I can't fookin' go.....I'm not bitter....
they've just finished.
everyone was looking the other way except Monty who folded his poster thru the barrier, and got Phil to sign it. Barney and Ste did a no show, and Hooky was chattin up Nicky from Corrie. Phil and Hooky jumped a cab home, but Monty's stuck down the front with a load of Boxing and Coronation St fans and a badly crumpled poster.

Was gonna post let's have a bet whether Barney is a no-show,but thought,no,give him a chance....hahaha!!! It's got to be too fookin' windy for him to be on his boat! Obviously too fookin' windy in Manchester too!!!

We could have bet that Barney would be a no show 
Hooky makes up for it though, always friendly and willing!

i reversed my fake dental appointment in St Annes Square. howling wind out there. going down at 12 if i can borrow a Beanie. see if i can see Monty. he might be wrapped up in his poster, coz it bloody freezin out there.

Feels like that here with the wind chill...& it's fookin' raining....for a change.Manchester does have a Summer tho',July 28th,1.30pm-2.30pm

All the band turned up, including Barney! Queue was a bit mental and loads of people with press passes running round following Richard Branson. Got a couple of photo's, will try to post them here later.
Didn't spot any Vikings.
Was selfishly kinda hoping Bernard would be a no show as I had to miss it

Impressed and chuffed to bits , took me books and had a little chat all looked very well considering just come back from S America. Too many press types and wrist band holders.. twas a bit ott. Bloody hell Ricky Hatton is a wee bloke. Glad I booked the day off..

Barney was doing a mental head count of those in attendance near the front. Using his hand to count. He seemed puzzled that he couldn't see you and started counting again. then he checked his list. then he got on the tannoy asking of your whereabouts...

Steve the Drummer even had some fresh chopsticks ready to throw in your direction. He put them back in his coat pocket, and mumbled - there's always next time. Shame.
Was very good apart from the really crap virgin bags that fall to pieces when they get wet almost got my signed stuff all wet
Forgot to mention... Barney said new album out....WFTSC quick everyone rush out and get it oh thats right I think we have all got it. He did laugh though and admit that it wasn`t that new! :\ohwell:
bollocks i missed it, and was in manchester too after the killers gig last night - they rocked
Pah I should have been at the gig but there was a massive ticket mix up.
Anyway, there was a good 5 minute report on Granada Tonight (tonight) with an interview with Branson and New Order. They nearly cut Phil off though!
Monty was there and managed to get his singles poster signed by all.
I got stuck in traffic and arrived only to see fucking Richard Branston Pickle and some B rate Corrie actors.
But, after all said and done, I had a result , they don't need auto cue's :D

I also went and have to say they are very nice people!!!!
Brandon of The Killers was also there and when I asked for his autograph for my girlfriend ,he refused - Tit :evil:

they don't much look like breaking up there.
We woke up at about 10.58 and it was "we've got two minutes to make it to New Order". Lazy bastards us! 
Well done those who got autographs though!
