New Single / Album comparisons

Just wondered what everyone would *like* as a next single personally I would prefer 60 miles an hour/ turn my way.

I agree some parts of get ready are like TT, after giving GR A few listens I have come to the conclusion, "get ready" is the album TT *should of been* . I like more songs on get ready than TT.

I spoke to Johnny in May at the Neil Finn shows and talked about the next Electronic album, he said they have about 3 songs on the shelf at the moment, so it will a time maybe.

anyway that's my penny worth. oh does anyone think run wild sounds like a mid 80's house martin type song ;) nice song though.

to me, run wild sounds like it could be from Screamadelica or Second Coming. where's the Run Wild extended instrumental? that's what i want to see pop up somewhere. Player in the League is much better than both Run Wild and Slow Jam. Run This River Dry is also better than those songs and emotionally similar to Run WIld yet neither appears on the album. I agree that one should not pay too much attention to the lyrics but when you hear these other songs, you'll realize how bad the lyrics to Slow Jam and Run Wild are.

i'm gonna live to get high --- we all know barney does his best to make the lines rhyme and this is a decent lyric but not as compelling as "please don't take my drugs away"

i respect your appreciation of Run Wild and I do think it's a good song as far as the instrumentation and quality of Barney's voice goes....but, at this point, with the exception of SlowJam, Run Wild is the low point of a great album.

as for the next single - i hope it's the chemical brothers collaboration but i'm sure it won't be. Someone Like You would be nice but Turn My Way will make their label more money so that's my guess.

i'll leave it at that. i am happy to be a new order fan and i find it comforting to know others exist and feel so passionately about the band. i was playing devils advocate a bit because i enjoy debating about music. i would rather hear Run Wild than anything on the radio right now. Get Ready is outstanding. The best new album i've heard in ages etc...

Someone Like You is moving. i particularly like the way the vocals in the chorus work. should be the next single with the live tracks from the japanese crystal cd.

I agree, the subject of liking or not liking Run Wild should be closed....

A lot of people don't like it, some do (like me)..

I just think all of you "guys" like to start arguments.

Run Wild reminds me of Green Day's Time of your Life...mostly cuzz they're songs nobody expected either band to do...Run Wild also sounds a bit like U2's All I Want Is You
