Were any Vikings in at Middlesbrough Town hall for The Charlatans gig last night?(sat)

The reason I ask is Tim Burgess said "Fuck me,the vikings are in" right near the end of the gig last night..I had a badge pinned on me jacket,but did'nt see any other vikings about....I never looked,or thought any were in to be honest,until Burgess said that..

I know Tim Burgess is a fan(I saw him bopping along to Temptation at Move 2002 Trafford Cricket Ground) Also they played Eligia on tape when the band went off :nod: Getting a bit fucking famous The Vikings it seems :nod:

Ah,I've heard of Andy Liddle..You might have even introduced me to him Al,as you did a couple of the road crew at Blackpool..Do those lads work for both bands then?

What about posting here? Do they?

Yeah, was defo talking to Liddle at Blackpool so think I introduced you. Dian's the bird who does New Order's sound. They both do Charlatans as well.

Don't think they've ever appeared here though! Too busy travelling the world with bands.

Said farewell to Andy in Buenos Aires and he said to come see the Charlatans. Said I'd see him at the Chemical Brothers instead (he does their lights too). He rolled his eyes and said I'd best come see the Charlies ... so I guess that means the Chemicals have no immediate plans for gigging again? Shame. Sat in the office of a Sunday and have got Push the Button up full blast. Bliss.

I was much more dapper and understated in the very tasteful double plated shield badge with the axes on,and "we are Fac 383 written in. You know the one :nod: Very October 2006ish :laugh:
