I'm just curious, since they were on his label during the 80s, it would make sense. Although they are quite different acts which appeal to completely different demographics.

Did New Order ever work with Quincy Jones for anything other than the Blue Monday remix?

well, they were on his record label, Qwest, and they played the Montreaux Jazz Fest at his request sometime after Republic. Haven't noticed anything else, though

I don't see any reference to Blue Monday/New Order in the Quincy Jones article on wikipedia.org. Seems odd for an african american whose primary base for working is with R&B/Soul etc acts to work on something with a UK band.... even though they were on his label. I wonder what he thought of BM at the time. I take it back he worked with Frank Sinatra....He just seems like he would lean more towards soul music as a producer...

I don't think Quincy actually did the BM88 remix or physically "worked" with New Order; the mixes were done by a guy called John Potoker with QJ "overseeing". I seriously doubt he had much - any - creative input and if he did, deserves to be shot; turning a massively cool electro single into a joke remix with ice crunching and silly oriental chipmunk chants 
The closest New Order got to working with him on Blue Monday 1988 was probably when Factory flew the multitracks over to Qwest.
He apears in new order story doesn't he, saying how he loves them and that they are fantastic musicains cos they can play along to sequencers, but still have feel, something like that anyway, and he said barney told him he wanted to quit the band and work in a bank!, so they were on talking terms but probably never actually worked together.
i think he would probably do a good job of mixing TLU, more soulful.
