Can't hear it so much with WFTSC, but I would agree about Turn. Let's Go predates Technique by four years!!!

Possibly the least dated and most timeless thing they have ever done, I would have thought. No coincidence that they still play it at most gigs, it is the only album-track survivor from that era.
Obviously all the albums have the basic 'New Order' sound running through them,but i think they all sound different. recorded at different times they'll naturally have a different feel to them.
Take any (real) artists albums and they'll all be the same.

The ironic thing here is that in 1985 and 1986 I did think Your Silent Face sounded dated, the sequencers at the time didn't really do the song justice live, and I rarely listened to the old scratched vinyl copy I had of PC&L. Nowadays of course I can hear the timeless beauty of the record whenever I want, and because they have sampled the record sound for the live versions rather than sequencing it from scratch, the live versions sound good too.
Didn't they sequence it from scratch for the 2001 In Session version? Sounds like that to me but I could be wrong. They've speeded YSF up over the years as well haven't they? The versions at earlier gigs were a bit slowed down compared with what we get now.
Probably the best track from that 2001 session, especially when they chose three of the dreariest GR tracks to accompany it.
A treasure amongst turds 
It's now just a big loop, whereas in the old days it was sequenced so that the oboe part came in and the drum track doubled. Nowadays Steve is doing that drum part and the oboe bit comes from Roger.
