Anyone hear the opening of Ceremony at about 9:15 last night on the secret millionaire? I'd just got in the telly was on, thought I recognised what I was hearing and low and behold... Not the first time it's been used as backing music for a BBC documentary type thing.

Q had Blue Monday twice once mixed with Can't Get You Out of My Head, and #1 in some indie chart thing, was expecting some Kaiser Killer bullshit, but it was BM instead
and somehow Jetstream is on the downstairs' computer
On VH1's Best Year Ever, they played BLT while doing a segement about some guy from Project Runaway ![]()
Hey, it's a spotting ![]()
Scariest JD spotting ever was in Corrie. Cilla's old slapper mate singing LWTUA to Les Battersby in a bath full of mushy peas.![]()
just tuned into a french film called Nathale. This guy is sitting in a car with a chick. Atmosphere is playing and he's explaining the whole story from Warsaw to New Order to her and claims to be friends with them.
Before I forget, something by Joy Division featured in the South Bank Show's Damien Hirst programme a few week's back.
spotted Temptation on the soundtrack of D.E.B.S. (sort of lezzie parody on Charlie's Angels)
tnite weve had crystal on trinny and thingyana and elegia for the global cool ad? on sky news.
Crystal on Video Hits (they were interviewing two of The Killers). The presenter said it's his favourite song ever - yey.
.....heard Temptation whilst D.E.B.S. was on TV this morning. I was watching it just to hear that, oh yeah........![]()
BLT 7# on ABC Canberra playing now. I wonder what all the oldies will make of it.
edit: me thinks the announcer is a fan. apparently it is 20 years since BLT entered the Australian charts, where it reached no 5. Hearing it on the AM band really took me back. (I only listen to the ABC in the mornings because it has the best local news and information. )
The Etermal was mentioned in today's Mail on Sunday in some section where they ask someone famous which songs that they like.
Bit off tangent this one, but there's also BBC 3's latest comedy, "Thieves Like Us" and Channel 4's music show "Transmission".

What is it with the Scots on here......just got the same message by text from Grahame Ferguson.
I wasnae watching it.....honest ![]()
Just heard Blue Monday on the Channel 4 programme '10 Years Younger'. There seems to be a trend for using New Order songs on these types of programme as Trinny & Susannah also use their music as well.
Something by Joy Division (I forget just what) was included on the programme about Kurt Cobain, last Sunday night on BBC2.

George is a top boy
Toothache gets a regular airing at Anfield ![]()
And True Faith was played on BBC1 last Saturday over the credits for MoTD after Man Utd could only scrape a draw with Reading Reserves in the FA Cup ![]()
BM/The Beach (couldn't really tell) on the MTV program Drug Years with Reagan's mug on screen. Appropriate enough.
