Gene did a song about that... 'I was lost in Kings Cross, when I saw you...' Perhaps though if your Kings Cross is actually classy, you don't wish to know the rest!

Our Kings Cross isn't classy actually ... It is strip club, prostitute, drug taking heaven full of junkies and mafia bosses ... Not such a nice area ... But an experience I guess ..

Same as ours then Petal, the Gene song "How Much For Love" might make you chuckle then, well it did me when I read this thread first!

I'll try and listen to that track sometime .. Sounds funny .. If your a guy, you can't walk through Kings Cross without ten big burly guys pushing you into a strip club ...

Aaahh.. Recycling from the master I see.

I'll call it homage.

Oh right, the master  You can call it what you like, my lower-case-fixated friend. I see you're still trying with the whole 'funny' thing. :thumb: Keep up the effort!

Oh be fair, Candy.....dC's "I heard he got the sack" line was comic genius.

Hear that RandyBear: "genius".

That's Australian for Guiness, apparently.

The radio station Tripple M was playing at work tonight and I nearly freaked when Here to Stay came on ... Jumped up from my computer and started singing and carrying on ... The stupidity of the announcers was abit to much though because after the song ended, they were like "THAT WAS HERE TO STAY !! From the album GET READY !! Thats a great CD and you can hear that song on it" ... DUHHHH

Yes.

The J's have belatedly started giving it some decent rotations as well.. Still no word on the film release, however.

An afterthought..

With 24HPP in competition at Cannes, it's entirely possible that a local indie cinema consortium will buy the flick.. A late 2002 release may well eventuate.

Lets hope so .. I'd rather see it on the big screen before seeing it on DVD although it may well come out on DVD in the UK before we see it out here ...

Forgot to mention, that 60 Miles and Hour was played on Tripple M only about an hour before they played Here to Stay !
