TURN played in Wolvo pub

Was out last night in a Wolvo pub and was surprised when Turn started playing in the middle of a sort of pub compilation cd which was on. Seeing as we never had the single therefore the majority of people in there had probably never heard the track I found it rather strange. Anyone else heard it in a pub. I know the breweries supply the cd's for their houses so I guess there must be a NO fan putting together the pub compilations?? :)

I was in the car recently and Turn came on the cd player. My friend loved it so much that I ended up giving the cd away. It was really interesting to see the reaction of someone who'd never heard it before - almost euphoric.

I'll never forget what someone said on WIM when that track was first doing the rounds - 'a classic New Order track that hits you really hard and makes you feel weightless.' Familiarity with the track may mask it's greatness - was nice to be reminded how good it is.

So true.Have experienced that feeling on many an occasion .Usually upon second listen to a new New Order song

Which pub was it ?

I lived that once before...here in Bogota in a pub called BBC..Bogota Beer Company, it was in march of 2006 when all of a sudden vanishing point was played...i was so excited at that moment, but to the rest of the people didn't give a damn.

every night in my own Pub always play NO/JD videos and tunes, but people never ask for them.

Thieves Like Us gets regular plays on the jukebox in one of the pubs i frequent. Not me who puts it on though.
