That was really brilliant. However, the part with Ian dancing in front of the setting sun made me think of a bad James Bond opening. But maybe that's just me. *smile*

Pretty imagery, but what all that has to do with that machiney song (the version I prefer, actually) is not clear. Ian Curtis as God? Sorry, he wasn't.

If the song had been "Vanishing Point" the video (minus Ian) might have made more sense, though...

it's shite! with all the explosions and falling women it makes it look like the titles to a james bond movie made in someone's bedroom. Compare it to the video to Atmosphere which suits the music of Joy Division so well, where as this looks like a fat boy slim video.

c'mon, that atmosphere vid is shite. a load of jawas carrying big pics of the band? total shite...imo. this vid is cool...it's amazing! the way the guy has used footage of Ian & played with it...& created something new & still awe-inspiringly Joy Division. he's done a great job & i hope to see more stuff by him. the possibilities for new JD vids are almost endless using techniques such as this. really hope there's more to come.

It shows Goth and KKK French Jawas showing homage to Corbin's photos... its is uplifting that Ian inspired Corbin to take such great photos which in turn inspired these to warring groups to settle their differences and band together... and isn't this what Joy Division was about?

It's not bad, but I agree that all those sunset backdrops seem more appropriate for a Technique era vid, or even the Happy Mondays. Surely for JD it should be raining, at least, if not actually snowing? (It always rains or snows in Manchester right? Every time I've been there it did anyway, so what if I've only ever been there in winter, its a legitimate generalisation dammit).
