I did a video for one of my favorite New Order songs, "Mr. Disco" back in 1995 and have put it on YouTube:

I liked it. There were parts of it that were really cool, like the ascension of the stairs in time with the keys and the gals sort of brought a younger version of the Round and Round feel to it. Homebrew MVs are really interesting to see, glad you linked to it!

Is possible to put this video on rapidshare with good quality?

What's the story behind this video?

top notch!

Ranks there with the Primitive Notion fan video... follows Round & Round very well.

I really need to ask Mr Shamberg if we could put out a fan DVD with all those songs... if we do it no-profit I guess it could work...

The story is pretty vague. I'm not a big fan of videos that follow a storyline too literally. It's more about a feeling for me. And I feel that aligns really well with New Order's music.

I meant the production. Is this another fan video as it wasn't planned on being released as a single or did they make this for fun?

My apologies for not understanding what you meant. Actually this was just a project I worked on with some friends back in 1995 when I was 19. I was always a fan of the song and thought it would be interesting/fun to make a music video for it. I just now got it transferred to DVD and thought I would post it on YouTube for other fans of NO and "Mr. Disco".

Heh, watch out what you say, Jeff-al-Tex-aroo. :viking: You might get your question personally answered in some odd manner.

Otherwise, back on topic: Love that video! Never heard 'Mr. Disco' before until I saw this video. Great stuff!!!

Good effort Chris! This wouldn't look out of place on New Order A Collection. Fits in with the typical NO vid style at the time, closest comparison, yes got to be Round & Round.

Thank you very much for your kind words (and everyone's for that matter). I did this video 12 years ago when I was 19 and had a blast doing it. And it's really nice to have actual New Order fans be so complimentary about a project some kid did just for fun. So thanks again... this sharing experience has been very positive and encouraging!
