Hi All,

I have just recreated the barcode t-shirt from the 1993 Republic tour and was wondering if there was anyone else out there that would also like one?

I did pretty extensive research on the shirt, because my old one had long since gone to the great "hamper in the sky" and I just loved it so much. I can remember wearing it almost all the time.

The one that is pictured isn't exactly like my final design, because I have since tweaked it a bit. I made the exact same number of bars and I used the exact font used on the t-shirt. By the way, I also designed the back as well with the cities listed; Dallas, San Fran, New York, etc....

I also went through the trouble of making the bars the same color sequence used on the t-shirt.

I thought this would be an easy photoshop activity for me, but I was surprised at how challenging it was to put together. I tried my damnedest to make each bar on my design the same thickness as the original. (That was the most challenging detail.)

So, anyhow, I am just taking a survey as to how many people will be interested. If there is enough interest, I think I will make it available to all the Neworderonline.com fans. I have an ebay account as well and that might be an easier route.

Let me know what you think. I have been working on it for a while now and would really like others to enjoy it as well.

you'd better be careful with that. they were still selling shirts with the same basic design in 2002. i dunno if they've stopped.

I have looked far and wide and have yet to find a NewOrder barcode shirt. Where did you see one? Was it a neworder shirt or was it for another band?

The shirt was designed by "Nice Guy Merchandising", but when I looked them up, they don't seem to be in business any longer.

It was at 2002 Australian gigs. No I didn't buy one as I thought they were overpriced

I would suggest sharing the photoshop files, so people could order it themselves....

I know a few sites to get t-shirts done with custom design, especially where I got my Community 2 t-shirt.

I had no idea that they did that. Does anyone have a picture of the Aussie version of the shirt?

I've still got an original one, dont think i wore it more than once, it was really thin material and you could see through it.

Not true... the US ones done by Object are serious quality.

All those I got through them were top quality... and I sure hope people who ordered them via our shop can say the same.

(The shop will reopen soon ;) )

That's a great idea Nick, if you set up a members t-shirt design section, we could up load any designs, copys and originals, and get them printed on whatever quality t-shirt we like.

I want a Run2 tshirt like the one that bloke had in the club in Wolves.

It had seen a lot of action too - was all washed out.

That's how I want mine.

I tried to swap with him and gave him a badge.

Does he post on here?

Wow...the response to this is more than I expected.

I am pretty much done with the design. I thought it was ok, but when I did a test print the other day; I wasn't quite happy with how vivid the colors were.

I am almost done.

If you are interested...let me know and I will have some shirts printed.
