Anyone got theirs through from Way Ahead yet?? Mine still haven't turned up: should I start nagging them yet??#

Anyone else catch Doves on their recent jaunt?? Saw 'em over the weekend and they were (as ever) blinding, all of which bodes well for aformentioned Mancland show......

Apparently they haven't arrived at the Way Ahead offices yet - I've been nagging them for a week now, as it's a month since they took my money, and I'm getting a bit pissed off with them. Mind you, they did say they would deliver within 63 days at the time of order, so they are still within the agreed timescale.

Yes, they swiped my money pretty sharpish too - I saw the 60 days stuff too but thought it was just legal rubric. Or is that rubrik? Or rubrick? Anyhows, my mind is at ease now I know they're just slack bastards.....

I saw Doves last night.........absolutely breathtaking. Possibly the best gig I've ever been to.

I bought my tickets in person at the Box Office and had to make do with receipts. The lady said the actual tickets would be ready to collect at the beginning of June, so that may be when they get posted out too :)

Did you catch Magnet as support, OB? They were frankly amazing as well. When I saw 'em in Norwich Jimi Goodwin was laughing 'cos he was still drunk from the night before, partying 'cos the LP has gon to No.1. Fair play, I say, and muchos kudos to the late Rob G. who believed in them from the start.

Nah, we got some Icelandic lot called Leaves, who were dull to say the least. I think there is something like four different support acts on this tour depending on your locale.

Jimi was on form, they finished with that stonking instrumental that I don't know the name of (sorry), with the clips of space footage and quotes from 2001 playing behind them. His parting shot as they left the stage was "If you see that Moby, tell him to shove that right up his arse.."

Yeah, that instrumental WAS, as you say, stonking - they didn't play it last time I saw them. Thinking back it was probably the tune of the night. Is it a 'b'-side or summat?

Not sure if it's been recorded or if it's a "work in progress". They played it at V, that's the only other time I've heard it.

I've got mine a week ago. Not a problem. I know that some of their system crashed.

Sorry, bad joke. Still waiting like you.
