I think the main protaganist was called David Smith,& the last contact I had with him,& the last Paradise issue I had,was Feb' 99.I bought some photos of when N.O. played Temptation in Manchester Albert Square for the Commonwealth Games hand over. After that,& trying to contact him since, naff all.In the '80's,I used to get my issues from Mark at The Record Peddlar on Swan Street here in Manchester, quality shop. After that closed, everthing dried up,tho' I know he sold all his stock to some guy in Bury:shrug: :\ohwell: :thumb:

Yep, David posted here for a while after a tip off that a few of us were gonna photo-copy some old issues and send them out to the less fortunate, I think he printed a good few and sent them out to people on here.

He's a top lad, if it wasnae for him, the Corby Order wouldnae have got to the Liverpool gig in 2001.

Two or three contributors to the fanzine also post here, Jarvo (who posted an Electronic piece) and Jonathon Scott (who used to do some of the artwok & stories of trips to America)

There was a bunch of those mags up on Ebay a while ago. I would have liked to have gotten them, can't quite remember why I didn't :confused2: the memory is definitely failing me today :)

Wasn't there two guys who headed it up? David Smith and Oliver someone?

I sold my copies a while back on ebay, I was actually amazed at how many bids were made for them! They were a good read though I they did sell me a copy of that rare new order track 'love dance' (on the chepaest 15min boots cassette money can buy)that wasn't new order!

Takes you back to the day of the photo copied fanzine, coats for goal posts and all that!

I even got a couple of those in New Zealand. Can't remember how I got them. Must have paid for it to be posted. All gone now.

I've got a couple issues lying around somewhere - I *think* they're in a pile of music magazines (about 6 foot high - and I have more music magazines than that pile!) that I keep meaning to spend some time going through!

I've got a full set somewhere. Cracking read. May have to dig them out again!

I'm suprised NOOL doesn't have scans of old magazine articles for everyone to see? Is this not allowed or something?

 why don't you start it off then, by scanning all these magazines, I'm sure there would be no objections :thumb:
