Should we start pressing for the release of the Siren's Six?

I wasn't around these parts in 2001-ish when 'In-Session' got released as a result of fan pressure...

How was it done-- Was it through NOOL or some other format?

AND: Should the same thing be done again to make sure that we get to hear the 'Sirens Six' before 2020!?

PREMPTIVE PEDANTS POST: Yes, it may have been 6 or 7 tracks, but for the sake of argument and snappy titles let's just agree to disagree that it's 6...

Where have you been during the whole discussion about those tracks being released as part of the Control soundtrack?

Is that definite or rumour...? If it's definite then that's great news!

I disagree. NO tracks anno 2006/07 should not be part of a soundtrack of a JD film :nonono: We should petition for a separate release, and if they can't/won't write anymore to make an album, then make it an EP or whatever they're called.

if the unreleased tracks weren't any better than Dracula's Castle...I ain't entirely sure I want to hear them...

I'm in complete agreement.

Petition all you like. They will only come out if the band want them to.

As for them being part of the soundtrack.....let's hope not. New order pop 2005 on a JD film? Reality check!

I just don't see it coming out on the sdtk, like OldMonkey stated, they just don't go together. I bet it was just an idea that was thrown around that wil be soon forgotten (probably with forgetting to release the remaining music). But what the hell do I know anyways?

Agreed - should not be released on the Control soundtrack.

Would be pointless, totally diffeent styles of music.

I'm suprised the record company haven't pushed for some sort of release...... have NO still got a record deal?????? Or was Singles the last record needed to honour the contract as per the leatest Best Of Electronic.

Another forgotten idea?? Like the band's idea to vote on thier favourite fan U-Myx of Jetstream which was to net the winner a specially-designed WFTSC Ipod?? To quote the Sex Pistols from thier final 1970s US gig "ever get the feeling you've been cheated??" How many of us got involved in that fiasco, que??

And if some(or at least one)of the Jetstream U-Myx remixes does appear on any release of the remaining songs and no Ipod is still forthcoming to the "winner(s)" let's hope that some sort of remixer's royalties get paid out:evil4:

I have to agree; as much as I would like to hear the unreleased songs; I don't think it would be right to put them on the Control soundtrack.

I would rather have them released as a seperate EP.
