As a b-side for their next single "All My Friends", LCD Soundsystem will be doing a cover of Joy Division's "No Love Lost." Knowing James Murphy I bet it will be great!

Single will be released May 21st.

I had problems understanding the article and I'm sober ... here.

Just can't get my head round other people covering the song and being released on the single of a different band.

So I guess it clears up that Franz Ferdinand aren't doing No Love Lost as well.

Now that's definately of interest,I think LCD Soundsystem are of the utmost quality,I have complete confidence in James Murphy to not turn it into a babys' first attempt.Bring it on!  :thumb:

Seen LCD live - they put on a great show. Wish I was seeing them at Coachella this weekend!

That figures, because to my ears the LCD Soundsystem "Sound of Silver" LP sounds like a sequel to "Power, Corruption & Lies" albeit 20+ years later. Go on, play them back to back, you know you want to.

yep really enjoyable album. to my ears it's still more acr than pcl - but you can see the influences running through it. I'd imagine it would be a right giggle to see them live.

But do they play any Elec- tronic. Copywrite Re: Order play at Home. Editors. Open your Arms. Time flies. 05- 2006. Has this been noted or said before. There does seem to be some JD and 1963 here.
