It would have to be in Manchester of course. Say MCFC stadium. Or in my back garden in the new gazebo I have just purchased from Argos.

Anywhere in Eastern-Europe, i'd go, for certain.

Screw Europe, they've done those venues enough....right here to California would be best!:p

This would be fine with me as well :D But I won't be picky, just as long as that I can at least try and see them the 1 time I would be happy.

I wouldn't go into the poorhouse for it but if the location and time frame sounded reasonable enough I would go.

Fairwell gig sounds way too sentimental and actually very un New Order like for me. In fact the thought of it this evening makes me want to :barf:

Like someone else said they'll more likely do something like play at a festival where none of us can get tickets to as their last gig

They´ve never been to Iceland so wouldn´t mind that.

Perhaps do it somewhere dead neutral. Say, somewhere in Western Europe?

Nah, Eastern Europe - 'bout time they got the chance to see 'em before they depart this mortal coil.

Who here would actually go?

Seems to be a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth in the 'split' threads.

But who would put their monies where their mouths are and actually bother to attend One Final Concert?!

Don't all answer at once. :skeptic:

I'd go to East Germany to see them but that's as far East as I'd go. I'd have to take wife and kids with me, so it has to be all ages. No drunk fighting please. I would go if it were in East Berlin or anywhere in Spain. Only if it was a REAL farewell show. I would pay top dollar for a show in Manchester though. Never been there and wish very much to go.

Surely if you are gonna fly from America, it doesnt really matter where in Europe it is, no? So East Germany as you say, would be a goer, but the next countries Eastward ie Poland or Czech Republic would be too far?

First of all, I checked if the thread had not been begun on April 1st. Well, it did not.

The biggest festival I know in Easter Europe in summer (August) is the Sziget festival, Sziget being a large island in the heart of Budapest...

it closed down about twenty years ago and its now the sight of a Mc donalds:(
