If it should happen,

What song would you like them to play last,

the last ever song...

Temptation then Ceremony.

Decades is a nice idea but they're New Order, not Joy Division. If you want to hear JD live for the last time then stick on Still

They should completely ditch the compilation-orientated Greatest Hits setlists and get stuck into the more obscure parts of the back catalogue as it's the last stand. Resurrect tunes from PC&L, Low-life, Technique alongside a fair smattering of post-93 stuff.

The final gig should should be JD-free ideally... they had their final gig 27 years ago and it's NO's turn.

Lovely

Temptation, then LWTUA

new order have played JD for many years albeit with not the same frequency. NO or JD it's just progression with the obvious events

Decades or LWTUA occasionally as a treat in the 80s is one thing...

I think they overdid the JD stuff at the more recent gigs.

Just my opinion though.

In my opinion, the following final songs, in the order in which I present 'em--

Age of Fookin' Consent. Temptation. Blue Monday. The Perfect Kiss. [DUH!] Transmission. Warsaw. LWTUA--dedicated to Ian.

And then, end of.

Walk off the stage and let 'The Happy One' have its day in the sun. :evil4: Or bring Gillian back on for the last song and play Elegia in its entirety.:love2:

They should play Ultraviolence for 25 minutes until everyone leaves. It's worked before!

Or hell, just leave on the Blue Monday sequencers and let them play forever until everyone clears out.

Strangely enough, I'd like to see Run.

They could join us! And offer to cover the bill, as well. Just leave the machines to do the bidding and have a bunch of trendy ticket holders out of the loop looking around confused.

Dunno how many gigs over the last few years my polite request of "Age Of Consent you miserable bastards" had been ignored :D Temptation or Ceremony would be a more realistic choice.

Last one would have to be Temptation. Provided they'd played all the ones we wanted earlier in the set anyway!
