No way It's the only poor song on Movement.
For all the rubbish about Barney not being able to sing, Hooky sounds like a very bad night at the kareoke.
Lyrics and composition, it's on a par with the rest of the album (which I love, 2nd only to LowLife) but Hooky's vocals fuck it

check it's plugin settings. I had to sort it out in Linux and that's what needed tweaking, not a clue how to fix it in Dos XP, but I receall seeing a solution for DOS when i was googling for my linux problem, so errrrrm google it :D

I like the recorded version better...Hooky tries too hard to be heard when it's live, which results in Off-Keyness

Peel Session and Taras are the best official versions.
For the record, unless I'm still forgetting we settled this years ago, but Barney is singing on the Peel Sessions version and the singing is not better ;)
So don't blame Hooky, it's the way the song was done...
And for me, it's the gem on Movement, and the Academy version is very frustrating.... putting an interview in it is blasphemy.

Really? I'm just after listening to it and it definetly doesn't sound like Barney. The voice is a bit too gruff for it to be him.

I think your vinyl copy of Movement has been incorrectly labelled, Dave! For 'Side A', read 'Side B'.
The song you 'think' is Dreams Never End is actually a piece of dross called ICB.
That 'top tune' you call Doubts Even Here is really a track called Senses.
