Uncanny resemblance to Ian, that Sam.

Since the site where FM points is a bit cheesy, I posted the pictures on the site here as well, and added the link.

Flash/Zoom and etc... I hate that!

Tut tut tut, that picture with the British Rail coach seems to suggest that Mr.Corbijn has used a 1960s style "custard and cream" liveried coach rather than a 1970s style blue and grey. Such an obvious mistake.

I'll get me coat..............

Just like to mention that these pics look pretty good, Sams resemblence to IC is quite obvious, but I worked as an extra on the set last July and I would say that the film, from the couple of days shooting that I saw in Notts should be well worth a look. I was in the gig scene that is shown in the gallery, and the actors actually played and sang live over a backing track and without being faultless were very adept musically.

It wasn't just his look but the movement and manerisms that impressed me. And he seemed like a nice lad when chatting between takes.

I know people will always criticise and pick up on indiscresions when they see the movie but at the end of the day the movie is one persons, albeit a person close to the band, interpretation of relationships, music and a period in time. Oh, and I am told he stumped up £1,000,000 of his own cash in doing so. So far play to the fella, and enjoy it for what it is y'all!

Just from what I saw and read about, this film promises to be very, VERY good! Can't wait for the film to kiss America's shores...

...and then totally fuckin' ROCK IT!

[note: this is one of those rare moments when i'll actually GO see a movie. i usually get bored with movies. but since this is joy division, and in particular ian curtis, we're talking about, yeah! i'll go!]

It looks well enough to see, nice reproductions of pictures that are out and about without getting too cheesy. These stills look heaps better than what I had feared things would look like (yeah, me doubt Anton - I shouldn't have!) and I'll be happy to chuck money down to see it.

Well worth seeing by the looks of it.....wonder if they'll show any Werner Herzog movies on SBS before it starts screening here:brow:

Yeesh...I got chills.

Seeing this in a theatre should be an interesting experience. Has anyone announced a US release date?
