I am a long-time Mac user. I just picked up the latest addition to the family yesterday, a new iBook :) In the iTunes program (Mac's MP3 player), Apple has included a sampler of 96 songs, including 5 songs from New Order! Included are Age of Consent, Perfect Kiss, BLT, Round & Round and Everyone Everywhere.
The sampler is quite eclectic, and includes other artists such as Depeche Mode, Lou Reed and Bare Naked Ladies.
I thought it was kind of cool that New Order was included! Mac computers and New Order both share a certain elegant cool factor, i.e., people in the know, know that they are better than the more common (crude and vulgar) stuff.
I wonder what the deal is between New Order and Apple? Anybody know? Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that New Order have used Macs for a long time.
