are listed on the ticket as Experience and The Music. Has anyone ever heard of these bands and if so are they any good?
I remember buying the 12" of Freaky Dancin by Happy Mondays when they were announced as support the first time I saw NO play in '86. The Wonder Stuff were on the bill as well but thank f*ck I didn't buy any of their stuff.
Experience is the new project of one of the two Diabologum frontmen (french speaking).
Benjamin Biolay has written a few tracks for the Hebri Salvador album. French speaking too.
Bosco is a french, quite good, dance act.
Know shit about 'The Music' though...
The Music are one of those 'NME tipped' type bands. They play sort of frantic anthemic Indie. I'm lead to believe they're the 'next big thing'. They've a single out today in the uk called 'You might as well try to fuck me'.
Oh God, The fucking NME. They can take their next big things and shove 'em right up their huge hairy musowank arses. A good two-thirds of their NBT predictions have been total flops. Shows how much on the cutting edge button those knobs are. Whatever you do,DON'T be suckered in by the NME's rabid salivating - remember how they hyped theStrokes up - and what a load of truly original retro toss they turned out to be.?
