True. Which is more than can be said for the spray can!

That's put me right off the film.

I'll probably get it when it comes out on DVD, but don't think I'll be rushing out to see it if that's representative of the quality of the peice.

Anyone with more than a passing interest in the way Hannett worked would have a problem with the theory that he used hair spray as a percussion instrument.

Nah, I can't even be bothered to rant about it. A simple will suffice.

The AHW actor seems to be playing Steve Coogan's AHW rather than Wilson himself. While Coogan's treatment perfectly fitted the context of the comic "print the legend" treatment of the 24HPP story, Control has been marketed as a serious film.

I've changed my mind - I'm not even going to watch the DVD. I'm going to wait until it's on TV, and even then I'm going to watch it with one eye closed.

Can anyone else better my indifference or do I win £40 for being the least-arsed about this film?

Someone's got mixed up. Listen to SLC, BEFORE the track starts, there is a single hit of something, could be the can.

Sampling in 1978? I think not!

(OK, the melotron, but if anyone has any evidence that one could be modified to trigger quick enough for percussion, I'll pass out with shock)
