Did they ever end a show early cause Bernard was so fucked up? Did he ever cuss anybody out onstage, then fall down and pass out? Pee his pants? Barf? Take a nap onstage? Pull out his wee-wee and show everybody "look what i bloody got in me pants! look at it!"...?

nope...you can deffo only get an electric shock when you do drugs...

barney took heroin for the first time in mancland for the 81 ritz concert,,, was a bit bizare though i got used to him that way with or without the drugs,,no idea about the rest

barney seems a mess during performance at Glastonbury 1987. Ramblings about "its like playing Salford British legions club" and "notice all our songs have big endings, big endings small dicks".
new Order and heroin??? I knew that they were well into most stuff; Ecstasy in New York in 83 and then Coca-charlie later, but I must have missed the heroin stuff... Anyone know if this is true or just speculation. I've been a fan since 1980 and never heard a whisper about the horse

never heard too that tey once took heroin...THey brought back E to england with acid house partiesand it's certainly not the best thing that they ever did. Anyway is it really interesting ??? Rock and drugs - what a mess!
At the end of the day though, no amount of pills and coke can make you act as much of a tit as good ol' alcohol can in relatively equal measures.
Would've thought the worst performances were ruined by legal highs, not illegal ones.

Montpellier 1989 was one of the worst live performances i've ever seen... I don't know if alcohol or drugs ruined it, but i 'm sure that the sound system ( la sono - P.A ? ) ruined it for sure.:D

speaking of glastonbury..this one where barney is speaking in the beginning of 'ceremony' sounds like he's saying 'fuck you, fuck you'...when really i think he's saying 'thank you, thank you' and then 'its like playing in a british legion in salford this' and then i notice gillian is on guitar... not bad but still a little tipsy-ish...
