CNN Headline News in the Morning plays New Order bits

In recent months...CNN Headline News in the Morning around 7-8am EDT, during the week they play New Order (or Electronic) bits every morning, at least once, in those fade out to commercial muzak moments. Usually the later stuff post-80s, except maybe "True Faith", including lots of sub-standard Republic tracks. No "Love Will Tear Us Apart" thou.

It is kinda sad to see New Order reduced to bland inoffensive muzak, but then kinda cool to hear New Order be used so much which is rare in the USA. Cool or sad?

Is the person who prepares the music for these CNN Headline fadeouts here on this site? Every single day they play a New order related bit, must be a big New Order fan, except seems to prefer the "Fat Elvis" period of post 80s New Order, not the cool indie hip "Thin Young Elvis" of the Factory 80s.

Age of Consent for Pickles... that would make a good commercial tune, sly but obvious message there. I prefer Olives anyway.

Interesting, Pumped Full of Drugs. It's not me though. Maybe the label could tie this into a campaign to sell more copies of "Singles". Was it ever released in the United States And America, by the way?
