As some people are aware, I just moved, and I was curious to know how much my little "collection" is worth, insurance matters, but obviously some items are irreplacable in this.

Nevertheless, I didn't place my stuff just yet, I was able to take a little picture:

That's what I have ! obviously you don't see the promo into plasic sleeves that are too thin, and I didn't put the 12" and DVDs, but still it's funny...

I could never imagine it was that big now :p

Obviously, many people on here have larger collections, so it's pretty modest compared to others.

My collection is too big. Insured for £4k now, and is the only thing I've ever bothered insuring apart from my cars. Probably should insure for more. Takes up loads of room too. I hate to think how much I've spent on New Order and Joy Division over the years. I won't say 'wasted' as I've enjoyed every minute :beer:

I have about 300 CDs :lol: That's not even couting Vinyls/Singles too!

I think my most valuables are "Closer" on Vinyl in perfect condition and "Ceremony" Green version...Got them for a fiver each :lol: God bless car-boot sales! :evil4:

Obviously I didn't put mp3 CDs and DVDs, because that would fill the damned bookcase.

I can only really count my vinyl as it's all stored in flight cases at my mum's. 10,000 cased and about another 2,000 on a groaning shelf unit and scattered about. Wouldn't bother insuring it because approximately 70-80% of it is dance fodder that I used to play out in the clubs. And loads of it was free anyway.

CD wise I've got about 100 "on display" in my CD Racks and about the same again in cupboards. Again, quite a lot of it pish.

No idea how much it's worth, I'm not one of these who has to collect every format of every release. I've got everything I want, and a lot more besides, but have never set out to collect everything JD/NO related.

I've got 10x more of other bands than I have NO, about 2000 CDs including various live torrents, over 1000 tapes as well.

I have no idea. I spent quite a few bucks on mine. I suspect I'd be lucky to get my money back if I ebayed it, not that I would.

I'm rapidly running out of space yet again. It already takes up most of three cabinets.

me? a crate or two of old lps, a few tapes and about 600 cds. I put the majority on my Ipod and it is like 35 GB of stuff or just over 8,000 individual tracks. I even got an external hard drive to back up my digital library.

I proabably have 100+ promos from my time at Tower Records so I really have no idea what my collection would be worth. Let's just say I can program my own personal radio station...
