Big advert in yesterday's Sunday Mail for The Complete Stone Roses at Glasgow Academy 07 & 08 December. The gig on the 8th will feature Hooky joining them onstage for a few songs including their Hooky produced debut single....a cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart!! I posted a video of him onstage with them a while back.
The world has gone mad after all. A two-bob tribute act covering a Joy Division song produced by Hooky and featuring him on bass.
Very sad. 
Could have been worst... Hooky agreed to cover Sunrise for Community 2... !
So Hooky covering New Order for a tribute album... kind of funny isn't it.
It didn't happen due to time constraints, but still, the idea was indeed mad (and from him)
Thanks to these shows, it's the only time I'm going to see a member of New Order live!
I'll be leaving when the Complete Stone Roses go on though...

Nah, he's actually producing The Complete Stone Roses' album (from a recent Myspace blog). "Love Will Tear Us Apart" will be with the band.

(So, actually, he doesn't mention the album, as per se, so it could just be "Love Will Tear Us Apart"?)
If Hooky plays on the album though, I'd pick it up...anything for a new NO release
