Even after all these years, the press are none the wiser to them, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.[1]
I suppose the poor fuckers have no choice but to print it but making headlines out of ANYTHING Steve says has GOT to be on the list of no no's taught to every baby music journo.[2]
[1]With the main armament of a Fairchild Republic A10 Tunderbolt
[2]before or after the removal of their soul and any remaining redeeming character traits, it makes no difference,
typical fucking nme
the story bears no resemblence to the headline
great quote from hooky right at the end though![]()
well...would you rather it have been close to accurate or not accurate at all...lol...maybe this film should have never been made...i don'tknow...could have been worse maybe?![]()
Well....
What's new with biography / true-to-life films what ever you call it. Their never 100% accurate. The writer, director, etc., etc. would always add and delete something to it to make the movie earn more money.
Its all about the money. Not much to inform.
Indeed!

...yeah, that.
Luckily, Hooky and my darlin'
have no say in my decision to watch the film when it kisses America's shores.

Slow music news week?
however, A great quote courtesy of PH:
"The way I always like to look at it is that you can judge how good a film is by how many people go to take a piss during it, and only two people went for a piss - Bernard and a 70-year-old woman."

But most of those quotes were recycled from weeks ago.
better headline: "Hooky and Co Get Herpes From New Film"

Exactly.Where's the 'ATTACK'???!!! Is that what you call freedom of the press or artistic licence?

Can't Stand
articles like this. Sensational headline makes you read the story, only for the small print to reveal there IS no story. The attack comes in the form of Steve saying a few facts have been bent for artistic license. That's an attack is it??? FFS! NME desperate for headlines? In the words of Brent, 'Ooh, love me. Pathetic' ![]()

better headline:
Bernard Sits Down and Pisses Like an Old Lady.

I prefer mine.
I like it so much I'm going to have "Bernard sits down and pisses like a lady" t-shirts made.
Anyone else want one?
Shall we say...
£40 a throw?

As a t-shirt venture, then yours easily.. Mine is purely a headline grabber, for lying music rags to mislead with, and unthinkable to put on the front of a t-shirt for daywear...
Put it on the back though
£40 bargain.
