Hi all

Id like to dedicate the clip below to my dear, dear friend Matty Reilly, who tragically died suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday at the young age of 34.

I chosen his favourite No song from his favourite gig –Temptation from Reading 98.

Many of you will recognise the big man (attached pics) from the many gigs we went to, and possibly have shared some pre or post gig beers with him.

Please raise a glass in salute of Big Matty, a great man and larger than life character who loved his footy, his music, his cricket, his real ales and his beloved Motherwell FC. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and all those who were privileged to know him.

cheers Paul.

Fuck. That's both Matt and Cheeky Monkey in one weekend.

Gutted to hear that Paul.

Yes, a lot of us knew Matt. That's terrible news, and sad for one to go so young.

RIP

Fuck. I'm stunned Paul.

Very sad news indeed.

First met him (along with yourself) at the Hooky DJ night In Edinburgh, purely beacuse of the Viking Badges.

Last met him at the front row of the NO gig in Glasgow last year. Needless to say he was having a great time.

So sorry buddy.

Cheers gents, we always enjoyed meeting the same friendly faces at gigs and got to know some great people including your goodselves. I know the Big Man would have appreciated your comments.

Last time i seen him was at an editors gig a few weeks back, he was in top form and left him stoating down sauchiehall street singing DNE at the top of his lungs - appropriate choice i guess looking back.

Swapped texts with him about Glasto last week and then all of a sudden hes gone. Just shows to live it to the full, but then i dont need to tell you lot that :thumb:

Reading the comments and thread about Cheeky Monkey, fuck its certainly been a tragic week. Dont know if we met but my thoughts are with her family and friends. Noo Ordah.

Very sorry to hear about Matty. I didn't know him but recognise him from the Glasgow gig last year. I will raise a glass to the fella. RIP.

Really sorry to hear that Paul - was great chatting with you and Matty (can't remember which gig we first met at - a couple of years ago now). Best wishes and sympathy to you and his family.
