This has been driving me mad but does anybody remember the name of a NO fanzine that was around in the mid-80s? It ran for about 5 issues (I think) and one issue had a tracing paper style cover a la 'Low Life'?

Also, on a totally unrelated topic, does anybody know what the tune is/was that Jez (ACR) used to play on the bass as a lead in to 'Wild Party'?

Did Paradise have one with tracing paper as a cover Dave? I cannae mind. There were 12 or 13 of them issued though.

There were a few other fanzines as well, Last Orders and one which featured a couple of other bands, ma heid's up my arse this arvo. Will check when I get home :thumb:

Good point, shug. Maybe I should have read the post properly

Paradise was from 1989 onwards, more than 5 issues and didn't have a lowlife style cover. :\ohwell:

I've got that exact issue of the fanzine (tracing paper sleeve) - if I remember correctly (as I found them recently, and promptly lost them again!), one had an article by Al? :)

That's the one - Last Orders :thumb:

I seem to remember a piece in one edition about the 86 Tower Ballroom gig in Brum written by the guy (or his mate) who shouted 'F***in popstars'...

What a gig that was! Went to see them at a signing session at HMV beforehand too. Surreal
