I think it is amazing that how much new order curses in their concerts and in magazine interviews, but when it comes to their music it is very clean , with no dirty words or profanity. That is one of the reasons i love new order , I never liked music with profanity, to me listening to music with profanity is like eating your favorite food with crap and dirt in it. I hope new order continues this tradition of profanity free music.

I got the impression that Barney deliberately refuses to use swear words in his lyrics for artist reasons but when he comes to playing live he just reverts to drunken village idiot and out come the F and C words!

Although the originator of this thread has gone off the deep end with this, I have to admit the lack of profanity has helped endear NO to me. Most bands are screaming "look at me!
